How long does a trademark registration process takes? |
|
|
Usually, the registration process takes between sixteen and eighteen months. This time can increase: - two months if an office action is made
- A year if an opposition is filed.
- It can also be increased for an indefinite time if a reconsideration and appeal are filed against the decision that grants or deny the trademark.
To prevent delays we recommend you to file the application with all the complete documents and to make a prior search of availabilty.
