B&R Latin America at coming events on Intellectual Property

In order to maintain our lawyers up-to-date in every issue of interest for our clients, and to participate on current debates on Intellectual Property, B&R Latin America will be attending several important events on the coming weeks.
134th INTA Annual Meeting in Washington D.C.
As a member of the International Trademark Association, B&R Latin America will participate in INTA’s Annual Meeting. This meeting is an extremely valuable forum to discuss viable solutions to current issues on Trademark Law and to get in touch with the latest developments in the market of Legal Services on Intellectual Property.
Our firm has special interest on the Online Use Subcommittee, in which we’ll participate through our CEO and Funding Partner, Alvaro Ramirez Bonilla. We consider this to be an area of special interest for the firm and our clients.
This event will take place in Washington D.C. from May 5th to 9th. And it will gather more than 9.000 professionals.
Seminar on Intellectual Property and Unfair Competition in Bogotá, Colombia.
We will also participate in this seminar organized by Microsoft, The US Embassy in Colombia and the National Copyright Office. The event will focus on the relationship between IP Law and Unfair Competition, and will have several government officials and the US Ambassador as spokers.
This event will take place on May 2nd in Bogotá D.C.
Meeting of the subcommittee on IP of ICC Colombia’s National Committee, in Bogotá Colombia-
This meeting will decide on the Subcommittee’s annual agenda and is a forum to discuss ICC’s policies and guidelines for 2012.
The meeting is sponsored by Bogota’s Chamber of Commerce and is scheduled for May 7th.
